Mayor Karachi launches cleanliness campaign

KARACHI: Mayor of metropoliton city Waseem Akhtar on Thursday inaugurated cleanliness campaign in the city.

The campaign was launched in Shah Faisal Colony.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London activists also reached the scene and raised slogans in favour of their party chief.

However; no unpleasant incident occurred on the occasion.

During press conference, Waseem Akhtar said that they will wipe out garbage from Karachi till 2017.

Farooq Sattar also begin the campaign in Gulshan Iqbal 13-D after brushing away the road.

While talking to media, Farooq Sattar said that every work will be done without any political influence.
