ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Jahangir Tareen on Saturday said that former election commissioner of Punjab Mehboob Anwar’s testimony has raised more questions.
He said that PTI’s stance will become clear once all facts come to surface.
Addressing a business expo at Pak-China Friendship Center in Islamabad, the PTI leader said new trends for improved business could boost country’s economy. The government must take business community into confidence before taking any decision.
To a question regarding judicial commission, Jahangir Tareen said that Mehboob Anwar had asked the Returning Officers for 200 individuals for printing of ballot papers but only 78 persons were available.
He said that printing process was taking place in Rawalpindi and if more workers were need then why were they not summoned from the same city.
More facts would come to surface in next few days, he added.
He said the PTI only desires transparent electoral process across the country.
