ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said the most difficult issues of the world can be resolved with statesmanship, adding that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit was a goodwill gesture.

While talking to media at Islamabad Airport upon returning from Zhob, PM Nawaz said he hopes the spirit of goodwill gestures will continue in both India and Pakistan.

He said it is with the resolution of conflicts that the people of both countries can prosper. Quoting United States (US) president Barack Obama as an example, PM Nawaz said it is with wisdom and statesmanship that the President Obama resolved the nuclear conflict with Iran.
