MQM presents 5 demands to Sindh CM in missing workers case

KARACHI: A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders on Monday met with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah and had discussion in regards to the arrested workers of the party.

Sindh CM assured MQM leaders that any injustices carried out against the party shall be compensated.

Discussion in regards to torture carried out against prisoners in jails was also brought up during the meeting. The delegation also placed five of its demands before the CM in regards to the issue.

While addressing the media after getting done with the meeting, MQM leaders stated that the party workers are being arrested without valid reasons and that the number of detained workers is rising each day.
