MIRPURKHAS: Syed Mustafa Kamal, leader of the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), vehemently criticised Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, a day after Kamal’s convoy was attacked in Mirpurkhas city of Sindh.

“You should not take Altaf Hussain’s words seriously, don’t give him more importance than a comedian… He has wiped out our two generations and still sowing seeds of hatred,” said fiery Kamal, who named his newly-instituted party last month.

Yesterday, MQM workers pelted his convoy with stones and eggs in Tando Allahyar and Mirpurkhas cities where Kamal addressed PSP’s public meetings during his maiden visit.

Samaa’s DSNG van was also damaged in the mob attack that left several supporters of Kamal injured.

“I salute my workers for their bravery and urge them not to be afraid of adversary… They are using dirty tactics to pressurize you, but I believe you are successful,” he said.

Kamal called upon his supporters to reject those who use ‘mohajir card’ and want to divide Sindh on ethnic grounds.
