NAB investigating corruption in Sindh education dept: Fazlullah Pechuho

KARACHI: Secretary Education Sindh, Fazlullah Pechuho has revealed that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was investigating corruption in the education department.

Talking to NewsOne, Fazlullah said, “Illegal appointments were made in the education department after 2012. The people who have no link with teaching are recruited as teachers.”

The education secretary said NAB had been handed over the required documents that it needed after meetings with officials, adding that he himself will make accountable the people identified by the NAB.

He lodged complain with the politicians for not extending support for the betterment of education system, adding that some political power wanted to sack him from the post.

He dismissed the reports that FIA had stopped him from going abroad at the airport.
