Nisar rejects demands for CMs’ resignations over terror attacks

RAWALPINDI: Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan has called for national unity against terrorists and rejected demands for resignation of the chief ministers over terror attacks in the country.

Addressing the party workers at Kalar Saydan here on Saturday, the interior minister said that terrorists wanted Pakistan to fight with each others.

He said that the war against terrorism would continue till elimination of the last terrorists.”We should not fight with each others,” he added.

He said that the people of different sects were being targeted to incite sectarian violence in the country.

He said that the federal government did not ask Sindh chief minister to resign over terrorists attack in Karachi.

He said that the terrorists were using the name of Islam for terrorism, adding that the attacks would not demoralize the nation.

He said that after eliminating their hideouts, the terrorists now started war in urban streets, adding that more than 10,000 intelligence based operations have been carried out across the country. He said that terrorists would be targeted in every corner of the country.

He also criticized the PTI and said the PTI failed to bring revolution in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that the PTI only knew how to criticized others.
