ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Monday has ordered ministery for Water and Power to not conduct load shedding during Sehar and Iftar timings in Ramazan.
On the other hand Water and Power minister, Khawaja Asif said despite severe heat, there is no unannounced loadshedding in the country.
He said electricity shortfall has reduced to 4,000 watts.
Khawaja Asif said the government has closed some plants that produce expensive electricity, which can also be operationalized if a need arises.
The annual fasting month of Ramazan is expected to begin on Tuesday in Pakistan.
