KARACHI: Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar on Saturday said that Operation against terrorism will continue.
He was speaking to a ceremony on Saturday where he announced that a three-pronged approach to tackling terrorism in Karachi.
Akbar said that with help of provincial and federal governments three major steps will be taken. The first will be establishment of a skill development centre.
The second step taken will be a “victim support programme”, he said.
“We will extend our support to victims of terrorism after we collect data of different terrorism-related incidents,” he said.
A third step will to rehabilitate petty criminals. “Over 30 children have already joined the Rangers Rehabilitation Centre.”
