NEW DELHI: India summoned Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit on Wednesday, complaining that why the Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Gautam Bambawale was not allowed to attend an event in Karachi.

According to a spokesman of Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, Pakistan has rejected Indian complaint, saying that cancellations of Pakistan High Commission events in India were becoming a routine.

He said that the events were being cancelled under the pressure of Indian government.
