ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting ahead of Monday’s parliamentary session.

The meeting discussed the country’s political situation and the agenda for the Parliament session. The government’s strategy following the judicial commission’s inquiry report was also discussed.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government is expected to present in Parliament the judicial commission report on alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections.

The three-member commission released its final report, rejecting claims by the Imran Khan-led PTI that the 2013 general elections were rigged and saying the polls were largely fair and in accordance with the law.
