ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif here on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House and discussed with him internal and external security situation.
Matters pertaining to internal security came under discussion during the meeting. They also discussed steps for security of China Pakistan economic corridor project.
During the meeting, implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) on terrorism and progress of military offensive ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ was reviewed. They also discussed matters pertaining to the return of Internally Displayed Persons (IDPs), said sources.
According to reports, the army chief advised the prime minister resolve the dispute of Panama leaks as soon as possible.
