PM Nawaz chairs cabinet meeting to review country’s security

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is chairing a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad to discuss internal security, economic and political issues in the country.

The cabinet will briefed about the progress in Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operation aimed at bringing peace in the country.

Separately, the Prime Minister is expected to announce a relief package for farmers in Islamabad at a Kisan Convention in Islamabad.

The move is part of government s efforts to ensure growth in all sectors of economy and it is expected to ensure stability in prices of agriculture products.

The package envisages reduction in prices of agriculture inputs including fertilizers and pesticides.
