ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in the federal capital on Tuesday night after reporting on Indian violence in Kashmir valley for decades in 71st session of United Nations General Assembly.

Prime Minister’s daughter termed the campaign of Pakistan against Indian brutality in leadership of Nawaz Sharif on international platform a success in a message on social media.

On September 21, the premier delivered an address to the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City.

During his speech, he said that Kashmiris had to endure barbarism at hands of Indian troops.

Prime Minister Sharif said that Pakistan supported Kashmiris’ right of self determination and that dialogue between Pakistan and India could bring out the best solution.

The premier said that Pakistan completely endorsed the demand put up by Kashmiris through decades of violence, as promised to them by several Security Council resolutions.

Their struggle was a legitimate one for liberation from Indian occupation, he said.

The premier said, “Our priority goal of economic development requires internal peace and stability. My country has been the principal victim of terrorism including that supported, sponsored and financed from abroad.”
