PM Nawaz to visit Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan on Thursday

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will depart for Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan on a two-day visit on May 20.

During this visit, an MoU will be signed between the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the trade promotion organization of Turkmenistan to enhance trade between the two countries.

The Kyrgyz Ambassador informed the Minister that on the completion of Pak-China Economic Corridor, Pakistan’s export items can easily be transported to Kyrgyzstan and then to Russia as there is an established infrastructure network from Kashghar to Kyrgyzstan.

The Ambassador also expressed Kyrgyz Government’s intention to join Pakistan Afghanistan Trilateral Transit Trade Agreement which will connect it to a lucrative emerging trading route.
