KARACHI: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi where over 1200 people died of killer heatwave last week. The PM will take up issues of loadshedding and law and order during his one-day visit.
According to the schedule, the PM will hold first meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The premier will have a briefing on the deaths caused by heat-wave.
Various other affairs including power crisis in Karachi, performance of K-Electric and law and order will be brought under discussion.
The Prime Minister will also visit Jinnah Postgraduate Medical College to inquire about the health of the heatstroke patients.
PM Sharif will chair a high-level meeting in connection with law and order in the city and the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.
PM is also expected to meet PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
