ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday announced to oppose motions seeking to de-seat of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) from the National Assembly.
Speaking in the National Assembly, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appealed to both Jamiat Ulma e Islam- Fazl (JUI-F) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to withdraw their motions as requested to them by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Dar said if voting is done tomorrow on the motion, PML-N would oppose them.
The Minister expressed the confidence that JUI-F being an ally of the Government would withdraw its motion. He also appealed to MQM to withdraw its motions so that PTI is allowed to play its parliamentary role.
PTI MNA Arif Alvi appreciated the spirit of the announcement of the Finance Minister.
