ISLAMABAD: The ruling party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is set to hold intra-party elections for 10 position on Tuesday.
It is expected that some amendments will be made in the party constitution, party leader Khwaja Saad Rafique said on Monday.
He said that elections will be held in two phases for the party chairman, six vice chairmen, finance secretary and information secretary.
He added that Imran Khan wanted to derail the democratic system. “That man is slave to his desires,” he said.
He said that the nation had already witnessed a 126-day-long protest. “But democracy will continue, and the country will prosper.”
