KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Aamir Khan says his party is pleased that ‘rotten eggs’ are now out of the MQM.

Aamir was addressing media after welcoming Pakistan People’s Party local leader Ishaq advocate into MQM. Ishaq is also a president of People’s Forum Sindh.

Khan expressed his concern that MQM activists were being subjected to assault and enforced disappearances. He said people who were got elected by the MQM were now hatching propaganda against their parent party.

“We are happy that self-centered people are out of the party,” he said while referring to dissidents including Mustafa Kamal who formed their own party named ‘Pak Sarzameen Party’. Khan reiterated that false allegations of RAW were being leveled against his party.

No one should cast doubt on our patriotism, said the MQM leader. He demanded the provincial government to initiate probe into enforced disappearances of workers and ensure their safe recovery.

New entrant to the party, Ishaq, said Karachi belongs to MQM and no one can snatch it from the party.
