LAHORE: Association of Punjab’s private schools has threatened to go on strike on Tuesday in protest against a law that regulates private schools in the province and puts restriction on raising fees.

The All Pakistan Private Schools Federation (APPSF) criticised Punjab government after provincial assembly approved Private Educational Institutions (Promotion and Regulation) Bill (Amended) 2015 on Friday.

Authorities hope the issue will be resolved through negotiations.
