ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen was sworn in as Member of National Assembly (MNA) on Friday.

According to the details, Jahangir Tareen took oath during the National Assembly’s today’s session chaired by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.

Addressing the house after oath taking ceremony, Tareen said that his success is the proof that the 2013 elections were rigged.

Newly elected MNA added that the people of Lodhran defeated the rigged system and made him win.

Tareen further said that he has come to fetch those 2.5 billion rupees that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif announced to give to the people of Lodhran just before the election day.

PTI leader said that PM and Ishaq dar should keep their promise and give the announced amount to the residents of Lodhran as it originally belongs to them.

“2015 was the worst year for the farmers”, said Jahangir Tareen commenting on the Kisaan Package.

Tareen stated that Kisaan Package was not enough to fulfill the needs of farmers and only Patwaris are being benefitted by it.
