LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeem ul Haq Saturday defended his party chief over ownership of offshore company and said that Imran Khan spoke the truth by admitting that he owned an offshore company.
Talking to newsmen, he asked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to follow suit and disclosed details about his family offshore companies. Haq demanded of the federal ministers to first step down and then defend the prime minister.
He also asked the ruling PML-N to initiate inquiry against the six PTI leaders, who own offshore companies.
“All of our leaders are ready for accountability and the government should initiate inquiry against our six leaders having offshore companies,” the PTI leader said. Responding to criticism on Imran, he claimed the party chairman had sold his offshore company in 2003 and brought back all money in Pakistan.
