LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Monday has summoned an all parties conference to discuss alleged irregularities in voters list in the recently held by-election in National Assembly constituency NA-122.
Invitations for the APC have been sent to all the political parties whom the PTI wanted to take into confidence over the evidence it has collected regarding the alleged irregularities.
The APC will be held on October 22 at Chairman Secretariat.
PTI has been accusing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of shifting votes to NA-122 from other areas of Punjab.
It is not yet clear whether the ruling PML-N has also been extended an invitation for the moot. Former National Assembly speaker and PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq, who was earlier de-seated by an Election Tribunal, managed to retain the seat in the by-election on October 11, defeating PTI candidate Aleem Khan.
