QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raided a bakery in Quetta on Saturday and recovered millions of rupees.

Sources investigating the recovery of Rs.57 lacs from the house of former Balochistan Finance Secretary Mushtaq Raisani said that the raid was part of the scam.

NAB’s officials conducted a raid at a bakery on Samungli Road and found millions of rupees.

This comes a day after an accountability court granted an additional 14-day remand of Raisani, who was arrested on May 6 on charges of being involved in corruption in the departments of treasury and local government.

NAB authorities had claimed that Rs 630 million had been recovered from Raisani’s house.
