Rangers arrest suspected target killer of former KESC MD

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) Wednesday arrested a most-wanted suspected target killer of former managing director of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) Shahid Hamid.

According to a Rangers statement here, the suspect, identified as Minhaj alias Asad, has confessed during initial interrogation his involvement in several cases of target killings, including the involvement in the murder of Hamid.

The suspect was absconder in the same case, it added.

It said the suspect was presented in the Anti-Terrorism Court and the court gave him into the custody of the para-military force for 90 days.
