Rasheed slams PPP over protests

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, Pervaiz Rasheed severely criticized Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership while talking to media.

The Information Minister questioned PPP performance and inquired that what Pakistan Peoples Party had done in Sindh so far.

Rasheed also revealed that the prices of cotton and rice had fallen in the international market and that the agricultural sector was now governed by the respective provincial governments.

‘Nobody cared about the rights of farmers prior to 2013. The prime minister gave 5000 per acre to farmers who were producing rice and cotton and every farmer received the money without any objection,” said Pervaiz Rashid.
