LAHORE: Reham Khan, ex-spouse of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan, returned to Pakistan on Thursday and vowed to continue her career as a journalist.
“I am happy to be back in Pakistan…I will continue my career as a journalist,” she told reporters at Lahore airport when she arrived here more than a month after her divorce with PTI chief.
She refused to comment on questions raised by media persons over different allegations concerning her private life but said she had already clarified various aspects in different interviews on the subject in the past.
On a question regarding her personal security, she said that she was not bothered about any threats.
“I am a Pathan…I know how to fight…,” she added.
Replying to a query about taking part in active politics, Reham was of the view that it was important to rid the society of social evils first before playing any political role.
