ISLAMABAD: A review meeting of the National Action Plan (NAP) is underway in Islamabad with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in the chair.
The meeting is discussing the progress made on the 20 points of the National Plan of Action that was approved at the highest level to root out terrorism and bring peace in all parts of the country.
The meeting will also review law and order situation with particular focus on Karachi and future course of action to further improve the situation.
The meeting will also review the performance of Apex Committees set up to monitor implementation of National Action Plan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair the second session of the meeting to be attended also by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and heads of intelligence agencies.
