Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to meet today for Zil-Haj moon sighting

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today with Mufti Munibur Rehman in the chair on to sight Zil Haj moon.

The meeting of the committee will be held at the Meteorological Complex in Karachi.

The Eid-ul-Azha will fall on September 24 if the Zil-Haj moon is sighted in Pakistan on Monday.

The committee will announce its decision about moon sighting after collecting evidence from different parts of the country.

Committees tasked with with moon sighting in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates couldn’t find any evidence of witnessing the crescent on Sunday.
