Saudi Assistant Defence Minister meets General Raheel Sharif

RAWALPINDI: Muhammad Bin Abdullah Al-Ayish, Assistant Defence Minister for Military Affairs, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday.

“During the meeting, matters related to regional security and bilateral defence collaboration including training exchanges came under discussion,” ISPR said in a statement.

Sources said Pakistan’s role in 34-nation ‘Islamic military alliance’, formed by the Saudi Arabia to fight terrorism, was also discussed in the meeting at General Headquarters of Pakistan Army.
