Security forces foil defence day terror attack in Quetta

QUETTA: Security forces have arrested a suspected terrorist who was planning to carry out attacks in Quetta on the occasion of Defence Day.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the accused has confessed to have been working for Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).

During interrogation, the suspect also confessed that he was involved in two bombings in the past, it said.

The security forces recovered six kilogram of explosive material and a home-made mine, which were later defused.
