Security institutions united to root out terrorism: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Third batch of Punjab Counter-Terrorism Force comprising 332 personnel passed out on Saturday.

Addressing the passing-out parade ceremony in Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said the Counter-Terrorism Force, Punjab Police and other law enforcement agencies are working in coordination to implement National Action Plan.

Shahbaz said all funds worth billions of rupees for training of the force have been provided by the provincial.

The chief minister said that the military, police and other institutions are united to root out terrorism from the country.

“The military and political leadership is on the same page against terrorism,” he said.

Shahbaz said merit has been ensured in recruitment of Counter-Terrorism Force

He expressed hope that the new recruits will play their effective role in rooting out the menace of terrorism from the country.
