HYDERABAD: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday said that country’s finance minister is not capable of presenting budget without getting approval from International Monetary Fund (IMF).
While speaking to the Sindh High Court Bar lawyers in Hyderabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the country is in a state that new loans are needed to pay previous amount.
He said that he has talked to Ishaq Dar to form terms of references (TORs) for the inquiry commission and test the capabilities of both PTI chief Imran Khan and Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
PTI leader also suggested to hold referendum to judge the performance of ruling party in the country.
“If nation shows satisfaction and trust on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) performance, then we will keep quiet,” he added.
He also alleged that one party is not in the support of accountability and only wants to stay away from every kind of investigation.
Shah Mehmood urged every class to stand against corruption and discrimination as it is the only way to eliminate this crime from the society.
He also announced that Lahore Bar has ordered the opposition to finalise the TORs in 15 days otherwise lawyers would step into the matter.
He further lauded the efforts of the judiciary as it has never compromised on anything.
