SHC grants time to Akhtar in Rangers defamation case

KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday gave time to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem Akhtar to submit reply till March 2016 in Rangers defamation case.

The SHC heard a petition of Sindh Rangers compensation in which the applicant Major Ubaid said that Waseem Akhtar levelled baseless allegation against Sindh Rangers in a Television show of stealing and snatching the sacrificial hides of animals during Eid-ul-Azha.

The lawyers of MQM leader appealed for some time to submit reply on which the court granted him time till 15th of March 2016.
