Six of a family gunned down in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: At least six people were killed in Rawalpindi apparently in family feud.

According to our correspondent, the incident occurred in Losar Sharfoo area of Rawalpindi’s Wah Cantt where a man along with his cronies shot dead six members of a family.

Police said Hamza, the key suspect of shooting, barged into a house and opened fire, killing two men, three women and a minor girl. Another woman was critically injured, as the attackers managed to flee.

Police reached the scene and shifted the bodies to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Investigating motives behind the gruesome act of murder, police said old enmity and family feud could be a reason.
