KARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has rejected a summary of re-opening schools on 3rd August across the province.

According to details, Provincial Education Secretary Fazlullah Pechuho had sent a summary to the chief minister to re-open schools on the third of August which was upheld.

CM House Spokesman said that academic activities across the province will resume on 11th August.

The changing of government’s decision time and again has led to confusion among the masses as to when are they actually supposed to send their children to schools.

In view of heavy rains and floods in Sindh, provincial Education Department had announced a week’s extension in summer holidays through a notification on Friday.

The members of private schools management bodies had expressed their dismay over the extension of vacations and most private schools had announced to reopen private schools in the metropolis on this Monday (August 3).

At which, the government today warned of cancelling the registration of those schools not abiding by the instructions.
