ISLAMABAD: Legal experts of Former Prime Minister (PM) Yousaf Raza Gillani on Wednesday have submitted documents of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) case in the court and stated that protective bail should be approved in order appear before special judge anti-corruption Karachi۔
Federal government, Interior Ministry, DG Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Director FIA have been mentioned as third party in the petition. Lawyer Farooq H. Naek said that protective bail has been approved for 21 cases while Gillani has been accused in 5 new cases.
Islamabad High Court ordered Gillani to submit Rs 1 hundred thousand per case with surety bonds and approved protective bail for 10 days. Gillani has been directed to refer to trial court within 10 days.
