PESHAWAR: Three commanders of extremist outfit were arrested in a joint operation of police and security forces in Peshawar today (Saturday).
According to details, the security officers raided the area of Matni and apprehended the suspected terrorists. The personnel have also claimed of confiscating huge cache of weapons from the nabbed militants.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) stated that the terrorists identified as Kamran, Syed Umar and Sohail have links with banned outfit. He said that the militants have been shifted to undisclosed area for further investigation.
SSP further told the media that criminals were involved in kidnapping for ransom, attack on police officers and blasts in Matni bazaar and school.
