The PTI has written letters to the Chief Minister Punjab, Home Ministry and security agencies for security.

Apart from Qureshi and Sarwar, threats have been received by Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, NA-122 candidate Aleem Khan, Mian Aslam Iqbal and Tamiur Khan.
