Two die of heatstroke in Karachi

KARACHI: Two person have lost their lives of heatstroke here on Friday in Karachi amid prediction of more hot and humid weather during the next 24 hours.

One of the deceased belonged to Manghopir area of the metropolis while the other one hails from Orangi Town area.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a possible heatwave is expected to hit the port city of Karachi, Pakistan’s economic hub of around 20 million people, as temperature will gradually increase from 38°C to 40°C.
