Two traffic constables gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: Two traffic police personnel were shot dead by unidentified assailants in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the metropolis on Sunday night, the police said.

According to the IGP Sindh office, the deceased were identified as constables Muhammad Sher and Nizam Din.

They were attacked by unidentified armed men near Sunday Bazaar (market) at the Main University Road.

The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The police have started investigation into the incident.
