Anti-polio drive to begin in Balochistan on Monday

QUETTA: The anti-polio drive will kick off across the Balochistan province on Monday.

Health authorities said that children aged five and below will be given polio drops with a special focus on Afghan refugees’ camps.

Preparations have been completed by the local administration to meet ensure that every child gets polio vaccines, according to Online news agency.

A health official said that over 2.4 million children will be administer polio drops during the campaign, while a task force has been set up to monitor the whole drive.
