2014 Moto X Android 5.1 Lollipop update was supposed to tie the loose ends of the previous Android 5.0 Lollipop update but if recent reports are to be believed, it seems that the Android 5.1 update has brought some bugs and issues of its own.
We talked to you about Motorola getting ready to do a big push of their Android 5.1 Lollipop update to a few of their devices. The 2014 Moto X is on that list and some users have already received the update onto their device.
Sadly though, we’re seeing some reports of various issues with the 2014 Moto X now that it has been updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop. One particular user has reported a handful of issues too.
Users Report Bugs and Glitches with the Android 5.1 Lollipop Update for the 2014 Moto XIf you have experienced the screen glitching, the phone application opening and then crashing, the contacts application crashing and sluggish or non-existent internet access while on WiFi, then you are not alone.
Some users have even reported the typical excessive battery drain issue and poor performance as well but this is something that we always see from at least one user after a big update has been pushed out. The performance and battery issues can typically be resolved by clearing the cache partition or even doing a factory reset.
