ISLAMABAD: Fresh heatwave continued to grip Karachi and other cities of Sindh for the second consecutive day on Thursday, as Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast hot and dry weather for more few days across the country.
According to PMD, temperature in Karachi is likely to remain between 40 and 42 degree centigrade today. It was recorded 42 yesterday.
The countrywide heat wave condition is expected to prevail for next three to four days, Met Office said, adding that very hot weather is likely in Sindh including Karachi.
It said no rainfall was recorded on Tuesday.
Yesterday’s highest temperature: Karachi 42°C, Lasbella, Turbat 41°C, Sibbi, Chhor, Mithi, Shaheed Benazirabad.
