KARACHI: Meteorological Department on Thursday said no rain was expected in Sindh and Karachi for next two days.
According to Met Office, hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country.
However rain-thundershower is expected at few places of Kashmir and its hilly adjoining areas.
Temperature of the metropolitan city dropped below three degrees and seemed bearable after the intense heat wave that had gripped the city, this past week.
Humidity was clocked The met department had earlier released a press statement, stating that the severe heat wave which had claimed more than 750 lives in Karachi along would defuse soon as rain and thundershowers were expected in the lower parts of the province within 24 hours.
Met office also stated that the rain system south of Karachi had entered Gujarat.
The Met Department’s National Weather Forecasting Center stated regarding Sindh that very hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the province.
However, rain-thundershower is expected at scattered places in Mirpurkhas division, while at isolated places in Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad and Karachi divisions during next 24 hours.
