Pakistani student clinches second place in NASA contest

KARACHI: A Pakistani O’ Levels student bagged second position at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Space Settlement Design Contest 2015.

According to details, Shah Mir Aizaz bagged the second place in the competition for his entry named “Beyond Infinity – Eros Outer Atmosphere Settlement”.

Over 3007 students from 14 different countries took part in the competition which was sponsored by the NASA Ames Research Center.

The students display knowledge regarding the environment in space along with presentation skills, teamwork, creativity and skills required to resolve the problems that are required for designing a space city.
