Private schools to reopen on August 11: Khalid Shah

KARACHI: Succumbing to government pressure, the previously unwilling private schools associations have agreed to start their educational activities by August 11.


“We have given our consent to the decision after a detailed talk with the commissioner of Karachi” said, All Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) Chairman Syed Khalid Shah.

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah’s spokesperson announced on Sunday that all government and private schools will resume activities from August 11.

“Disciplinary action will be taken against educational institutions violating the orders,” the spokesperson maintained.
