NOTTINGHAM: Stuart Broad led a demolition of the Australian batting on day one of the fourth Test match on Thursday.
He finished with eight wickets as Australia were bowled out for 60 runs in their first innings.
In the process of bagging his career-best figures, Broad became the fifth English bowler to go past the 300 Test wicket mark. He finished with figures of eight for 15.
Earlier in the day, England skipper Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to field against Australia.
