KARACHI: The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSF) on Thursday heaved a sigh of relief when the Ministry of Interior issued the necessary clearance for the Indian delegation to compete in the 18-nation World 6-Reds and Team Championships.

Despite strained relations between Pakistan and India in the cricketing world regarding their bilateral series, snooker has promised to keep the communication lines open.

The event is scheduled to be held in Karachi from August 4 and Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) President Alamgir Sheikh believes it is a good sign that India will be coming to Pakistan.
