DUBAI: Pakistan were 172 for no loss at dinner on the opening day of the first day-night Test against West Indies in Dubai on Thursday.
Openers Azhar Ali (89) and Sami Aslam (75) were unseparated in a solid stand after Pakistan won the toss at Dubai stadium and opted to bat in only the second ever pink ball Test.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first in the test match against the West Indies.
Pakistan and West Indies entered the record books as the only second opposing teams to have played a day-night Test match. The match will is being played with the pink ball.
